Okay SO I went to this forever 21 around February and I had an awful experience...the girls working the fitting room were SO rude and so obviously didn't want to be there. I usually do my shopping in bulk and with this HUGE store I always find a ton of things to try on--sometimes even two of the same item if I can't decide between a medium or small.
This REALLY seemed to annoy them. Each of the girls kept rolling their eyes and being very rude and it started to make me feel so uncomfortable that I felt I had to say something. So I told the main girl that she was really making me feel bad for trying on a lot of things when I came in there so excited to find some cute stuff to wear for my upcoming spring break trip. It totally ruined the fun in shopping for me and she made me feel like I was a huge chore and being the worst pain in the ass. It wasn't even busy or late and I felt that their reactions were totally uncalled for. I concluded my visit with reporting their behavior to the manager and he seemed only kind of concerned-- I never got to find out if they were reprimanded for it or not.
HOWEVER, 2 days ago I went shopping there again because, after all, it is the biggest forever 21 around, and I really needed some clothes in bulk (again). This time I was very pleased to see no familiar faces in the staff. Once I started to get a huge load of clothes in my arms, someone who worked there asked me if I would like a bag (she didn't even have one in her hand--she had to go and grab it from behind the counter) and right away I could tell that they have been working to improve the quality of their staff and customer service.
Then THE MOMENT OF TRUTH had arrived--I was at the dressing room and ready to try on my huge haul and the girl running it all was very friendly and did not seem to be annoyed that I had so much stuff and had to keep coming out of the dressing room to exchange items from my large bag (they only allow 6 items at a time in the fitting room). Later in that same visit I asked her if they had a particular dress I had tried on in small instead of medium and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She told me to go to the checkout counter and ask someone to check in the computer system for me. When I did, the girl was also very friendly about it and even walked me to the escalators where she hooked me up with another awesome employee (coincidentally it was the girl who gave me my bag at the beginning of my visit :D) who could take me to the exact location of the dress that I was looking for.
I am so so pleased that the customer service has improved this much!!
...What the other reviewers say are true, sometimes the fitting rooms can pile up quickly with large stacks and racks of clothes which can make it look a little cluttered and crazy in there at times. But honestly, this is a HUGE forever21 and with people like me coming in and out all day trying on millions of articles of clothing, they can only work through it so fast so that is WAY more understandable to me than having unfriendly staff.
