So it has been almost a year and a half since I traded my 2015 Mazda 3 Sport for a brand new CX-5 Signature and it is review time! First my car buying experience was so great with their team and every time I go to get serviced I never have issues and if I do it always get resolved plus a free car wash. In only this short amount of time I have put over 40k miles on this baby and it has done nothing less of loving me back. First, I was excited to get this car becuase it meant I did not have to rent a car for my Christmas road trip from North Carolina to Colorado down to the bottom of Texas and back up to North Carolina which meant over 63 hours of driving!! My trip was smooth, comfortable, stylish, and very helpful when it came time to stop. With the lane assist for time when I felt tired, the vibration of the wheel (there is also a sound option) alerted me that I was drifting out of the lane and that meant time for a rest stop! Becuase of the electronic seat position with lumbar support and heated and ventilated seats, I was very comfortable taking a nap in this beauty. During this drive we only stopped to sleep or put gas which got over 400 miles in a tank with only $25 a fill up. What I really loved about it was that I was forgetting to stop for gas, with the estimated miles left from gas it was easy to determine where to stop for the best price and save time going off route since andriod auto is available as well as navigation. This did not mean we didn't get lost though; but the good news is the automatic off road sensors helped us those unknown dirt roads in Colorado. All these miles and I was able to get in my first oil change during the trip after 7k miles on full synthetic. During this pandemic I did not stay coupled up, I explored our gorgeous state and in the middle a cement block on a highway was waiting for me. Now I believe mazda road side assistance could be better and faster; it took a whole week to get my baby back and sort it out with the extra tire and wheel insurance but rest assured it was perfect after and they provided me with a loaner. To the new year I recently went through an injury and I could not bend my leg. Normally a ride in the backseat sideways would be an option but I couldn't miss out on the comfort of having my back see middle rest and seat warmers since I could adjust my front seat to go all the way down like a bed! All in all this car has been able to get me through miles of mountains, ice, dirt, rain, wind, and even a cement block. Needless to say that being in love with the other features like the heads up display, sunroof, rear heated seats, heated steering, blind spot assist, automatic braking, power left gate, automatic lights and wipers, and so much more is just the plus. But now I cannot see myself without my car especially for the price of way under $40k for the top of the line.
