I had an absolutely infuriating experience at this FedEx Office Print & Ship Center. I came in to drop off a prepaid package and get a receipt, which is a standard request, but the customer service here is downright appalling.
The package I brought was large and heavy, so I expected some level of assistance. Instead, the clerk curtly informed me that I had to use the self-service kiosk behind me to scan it myself. The scanner at this kiosk is positioned at an awkward angle, making it nearly impossible to handle large packages efficiently. After much struggling, I finally managed to get it done, but it was an unnecessarily frustrating ordeal.
She says she’s been told not to assist customers with scanning packages. What kind of policy prioritizes making customers’ lives harder? I’ve been to UPS many times, where clerks always scan your package and hand you the receipt, no matter how busy they are. Here, the place was almost empty—just one or two other frustrated customers struggling with the same ridiculous system—but still, no help.
I now understand why this location has such terrible reviews. FedEx needs to take a hard look at how they treat customers because this level of service is unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.
