I ended up at Evolution Offroad after two other repair locations (automotive repair, then an auto body shop) both told me they "couldn't help" me. The body shop recommend a 4-wheel specifically shop, so I Googled such a beast, and found this evasive creature, happily just a few miles from my home.
It is nestled in the foothills of the mountains below Wrightwood, in Pinon Hills, where i live, a perfect place for an off-road repair/fabrication shop. Andy agreed to have a look at my Subaru Crosstrek, which appeared a little out of place amid the more exotic off-road racers he and his friendly staff were working on. But they treated me and my humble orange Subaru with respect and got to work on it right away.
The shop is very clean and, thankfully, air conditioned. I always love to see humane working conditions for the staff. A happy staff is a productive staff! They fixed my car right there while I waited, very quickly, very reasonably, and I couldn't be happier!
After being led to believe it might be next to impossible to find someone to repair my Subie, it was such a pleasant relief to find Andy and Evolution Offroad. I highly recommend them!
