Read MoreFairly certain I was purposefully ignored by the greeter at the Franklin location -- she warmly greeted the woman who walked in before me and again the woman who came in after me, but said nothing to me. Shocking! I even tried to make eye contact with her to smile hello but it was as if I was invisible. I'm 7 months pregnant and couldn't help but feel she assumed I wasn't worth the effort -- maybe thinking I wouldn't buy anything (wrong -- I came in for a specific item and DID end up making a purchase, despite feeling judged by this associate *eye roll*).
When I eventually approached her to ask about buying the item, she feigned surprise -- as if I had suddenly materialized. Luckily, another associate stepped in to check me out and was very kind and professional, which I appreciated.
I actually like the EVEREVE brand overall and have had positive experiences at other locations, so I'm giving 3 stars despite this disappointing initial interaction in Franklin. I'll likely return after Baby is born, but I'll be paying more attention to how I'm treated at this location. Just a note to your staff -- always treat your guests with hospitality, no matter what they look like.
