The closest one to me(and best rated)was Downtown Cigar Company. I'm not a local nor did I grow up here, but when I walked through the shady, cozy patio out front, I was greeted and made to feel welcome, just like I were back home by Mr. Maurice Hogan, the two other gentlemen on staff, and the clientele present were nothing but friendly and polite as well.Mr. Hogan was knowledgeable about the various profiles of each band extremely patient with me, and took the time to answer all the questions I had. I was even turned on to a couple bands the shops back home don't carry(yet, hopefully).I'll say this as well about Downtown Cigar Company, and I don't think I'm alone in this thought... At first glance, it might appear that they carry a small selection, nothing special, not much new, etc...To those who haven't been, it's not that they have a small selection, what these gentlemen have done is curated a choice collection of nothing but excellent cigars that you'll enjoy either grabbing a drink at the shop, on the road, or back home on the patio.Downtown Cigar Company isn't just a nice location to buy cigars and hang out, I'd call it a destination for anyone who enjoys friendly faces in smoky places. (Mr. H, I didn't make it past Martin's, I closed it, haha. Solid rec, cheers) Definitely a place I would return to if I happen to be in town.Thank y'all for doing what y'all do!
