I like this store; manager is great. I am giving it 3 stars due to recent funky experiences on 3 SEPARATE occasions in the last 2 mos regarding their seemingly new policy to place higher priced items randomly mixed in with the reg $1.25 items. Initially all of the the $3, $4 $5 & $7 items were in their own aisles. Now it seemingly appears they are placing the higher priced items randomly within the reg $1.25 priced items without making it known with signage or stickers. I bought a plastic water bottle I thought itwas $1.25 it was with many others in reg aisles. Turned out to be $7, Another time I grabbed a laundry product
but once I got home found out it turned out to be $5 or $6 and a tiny (.0025 oz) tube of oragel 4 rught there in a display box on shelf next to toothpaste & other oral care prpducts. I am not bothered at all by the new higher priced items; but I feel it's borderline sneaky policy to randomly have higher priced items in the area/shelves of the reg. $1.25 items without clear signage or price stickers. So when I go home & review a reciept to find I've paid 3, 4 or 5 times the price of what I believed I was, it really made me feel tricked. With the oragel particular, it was right there in the $1.25 aisle & because it was a name brand (although super tiny),
I looked to see if there was a special price sticker of shelf signage, and there was Not. I would have bought the $1.25 brand not the more expensive one. Im on disability and every dollar really counts for me and I dont appreciate this seemingly new policy of mixing in special priced items randomly placed right there with all the $1.25 stuff. I certainly wouldnt have bought a $7 plastic water bottle because i would use that extra $5.75 on gas or milk. When you are a disabled senior & live o poverty level income, you stick to the $1.25 items only. So i do not agree w/this new policy. CLEARLY mark price correctly or keep the higher priced items separetly or let customers know 'a bunch of products in all rows may cost more, figure it out in your own. I know this is an annoyingly long review but piss an old lady off and here ya go!😅 Im a loyal customer and am more than happy with the $1.25 items, some really great buys! But please dont switch to poor business practices. I know yall dont really care what some broke swnior thinks but maybe tgis wikk help others. And no i didnt return items becuse it would embarass menti return "Dollat tree"items! Times are tight man!!!!
Again great people at this store, always nice.
