Read MoreI am so excited to leave this message and give a couple of people some credit where it is due! About 6 months ago at the age of 53 I had a stroke. Of course, it scared the living daylights out of me and it has taken about 4 months to fully recover. I unfortunately lost my job and things have been extremely tough for me. That being said, the Dollar Tree only about 2 miles from me has been my number 1 shopping destination. I haven't been sleeping well and a couple of weeks ago I went in to get some OTC sleep aid but was unfortunately $.08 short but a lovely and kind woman behind the counter named Leighanna, I hope that's spelled right, reached into her own pocket and pulled out a dime so I could get the sleep aid I was in desperate need of. I promised her I would be back and made it in two days later and gave her a quarter, a big smile, and would have given her a big hug if it would have been appropriate. Then, this evening, I realized I needed a lighter and only had pennies to pay fir it. The gentleman behind the counter Greg did not make me feel bad at all after I explained the stroke situation and that that was all I had. In fact, he was so kind and gracious about my situation that I was almost in tears! I can honestly say that he was one of the kindest persons I have ever dealt with in that situation. He told me he was very happy that I had survived a stroke at age 53 and wished me good health and many more years alive! I was literally blown away by his kindness that I had to leave this glowing review! Those 2 people could have easily made me feel bad for my situation but instead it was the exact opposite! I don't know who trained those two employees or if that's just how kind they both are but it really reaffirmed my faith in humanity and I will be shopping at that Dollar Tree for the rest of my life! Thanks to Leighanna and Greg for being two of the kindest people I have ever dealt with or met and they both deserve a big pat on the back or maybe even a raise for going above and beyond to make me feel as good as I could have possibly felt! I will sing their praises and go there every chance I get for as long as I live!!!!!!💜🙏🫶🤟👍💜
