Read Morei shop here a few time a week for convenience,(which is why it gets two stars) but i just don't care to hear the employees talk about what the boss did or cross talking to one another while i'm checking out. i might be "old fashioned" but the younger the employee, most likely customer service is going to be trash. not all the employees are like this here, but it happens too frequently when im shopping at this location. also, the dolleys of broken down boxes or stock in the middle of aisles isn't safe and it makes it hard to maneuver carts through already really narrow pathways. shelves and freezers usually look picked over and there is no pride of presentation in this store. it's also very unwelcoming and unprofessional to yell "ATTENTION DG IS CLOSING IN 10min PLEASE BRING ALL ITEMS TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE" from the front of the store. we know what time the store closes, it's posted right on the door as we walk in. messy messy messy they need to do better.
i was just in here last night and there were two employees behind the checkout stand talking amongst one another the entire time i was standing there and being checked out. also, this place has been robbed at gunpoint before and the young lady who was checking me out (i had to wait) had at least $200 in cash sitting on MY SIDE of the counter and she was counting money most of the time i was standing there. i could have easily reached and taken the money if i wasn't an honest person. this same you g last has also checked me out with an earpod in while talking on the phone. this location has always been very unorganized, too full of product and understaffed. this new round of staff are a poor choice. not terrible people, just careless and unprofessional. i could barely get my cart through the store which already has very narrow aisles because of carts full of broken down boxes and product. came here to say again, DG needs to do better.
