Read Morethe staff/employees are very nice, but the Manager she is something else! I went in today in the middle of the day the store was a mess, but that is not unusual for dollar general stores. This store is very small and tight there was big supply carts parked everywhere in the middle isle and blocking your view to things. As I came in the manager was on speaker phone with the cashier chanting at someone? I went to find something in middle of the store.
Here I was turning in circles for a min because I was kinda lost lol from all the carts full of stock everywhere I couldn't find the isle I wanted right away. Then here comes that manager shouting at me Can I help you? Can I help you? she's walking towards me and I turned around to face her. I had my phone standing upright by the base in my hand with my keys, I started to say Im trying to find pet food? and then she starts yelling at me "Are you recording this?" what are you doing? Are You Recording this sir, then she comes up to me basically on me and starts looking in my hand at my phone! on both sides she then see's that my phone is off! I was not recording anything omg.
Then she goes back to her speaker phone call walking off and chanting back at me You cannot record us or anything inside here ever and walks away. As I'm trying to say well? I was trying to find the pet food thru your mess,, thanks..
Then I check out and the other woman who was stocking and was watching all of this stops and comes up to the front and stands behind me? while I am paying just watching me?? then I leave and she goes back to what she was doing, her stocking across the store.
Wow! what the hell? and what a insult omg I've never been attacked like that every before inside some little cheap store. I sure did not appreciate the way I was treated for no reason either. And what if I was recording that? so what... I guess she was afraid of her Hot Mess and Safety Hazard of a store going public huh, just wow..
The other Dollar General on East st they are very very nice! always even the manager, but? they haven't had any stock come in here this past month at all unfortunately. Or I would have just shopped there!
