Read MoreHorrible!! My husband and I live right across the street from this location. We used to go there all the time, I never had a bad experience until one night a few weeks ago. We tried to use a printable coupon and were told they do not accept printable coupons at this location. The girl there that night was EXTREMELY rude to us, Brandy I think was her name. We were in a hurry to get to my husband's second job and when we were finished we decided to come back and try our digital coupons. Apparently this girl did not like my husband and I, my digital coupons were "not working" and she refused to help us, so I asked her her name so I could inform corporate that she was saying my digital coupons were not working and she told me she "had no name". Even as rude as she was being we were still being nice, I told her not to be like that cause she could get fired, she said she didn't care and started pushing us towards the door to leave. My husband told her she was providing poor customer service and she got angry and didn't wanna hear anything we had to say while she was forcing us out of the store. Then she pushed us out the door and locked it in our faces. So I took a picture of her and the other lady who was working with her that night. I contacted corporate and they informed me that no Dollar general has the authority to make up their own rules or policy about what coupons they will or will not take. Their coupon policy is clearly outlined on the website and the app and it states that they DO accept printable coupons and digital coupons. The only coupons they will not accept are photocopied coupons, which is totally understandable. The coupons I attempted to use that night were legitimate printable and digital coupons and I hate to say it but I guess Brandy, which is what I'm told her name is, just didn't much like my husband and I and was being prejudice. Which is a shame, because like I said my husband and I live right across the street and used to go there all the time. We also have alot of friends and family in the area that will NOT be shopping at this dollar general ever again after this experience. We remained cool, calm, collected and polite and Brandy acted like it was a personal attack on her, and it didn't even have anything to do with her. It had to do with her stores made up policies and the fact that they refused to accept my digital coupons. I thought she was a nice person until she attacked us. 🙁 According to corporate this store and it's employees are now under investigation and they will be sending in secret shoppers to confirm that this store is breaking company policy.
