Usually, I haven't had a problem with the cashiers being rude or impatient with me at this location although some of the employees seem to have very little personality & appear to not enjoy their job very much. I understand completely how dealing with the public can be very frustrating & challenging at times, so I always do my best to treat people with respect & be pleasant. On this particular day, I went in to buy some Butterfinger ice cream. There was a digital coupon that lowered the price to $2.50 , so I thought great, I'll try it the coupon. I had never used a digital coupon before & scanned the barcode. I mentioned this to the cashier & thought she would assist me with the transaction. Not the case. In a rude & sarcastic tone she told me that if I'm going to use the digital coupon, I should know how to do so. Seriously?? The store manager assisted me with my purchase & gave me the discount. While the manager was helping me, the employee made an argumentative comment towards me & the manager politely diffused the situation. This particular cashier impatiently rung up the other few items I had & never bothered to say thank you to me or have a nice day..lol. But I thanked the very efficient & professional manager for helping me. Kindness always wins. 😉
