Not a fan of the upselling with the shopping bags. The associate who rang up my items asked if I’d like to purchase a Donald Duck tote, half off for $12. I politely declined. Then she asked if I’d like to purchase a $1 shopping bag for my items. I politely declined. The associate then proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t have any plastic bags to give, as I’m watching the associate next to her use plastic bags to place her customer’s items in. My thoughts were...so do you guys get commission off store bags or what?? I shouldn’t have to fight for a damn shopping bag. If I choose to purchase items at your store, I should be provided with a bag to carry those items home. Good grief, Disney stores really are all about the money. OH, and the best part of my shopping trip was that it was a complete waste of my time, energy, and gas money. Tried to use a $50 gift card given to my daughter for her birthday. She picked out the items she liked. As soon as I swipe the gift card, the money is completely erased from the card, bringing the balance to $0. I was told. “There’s a glitch in the system.” And with it being a Saturday, this issue, of course, cannot be resolved until Monday. So, we leave the store empty-handed after planning the weekend around, what was supposed to be a fun shopping trip. Oh well, Disney won’t be seeing us any time again soon!
