My girlfriend and i recently decided to spontaneously fly to LA and visit San Diego. We are both students, and don't have a large income.
I am SO thankful that i found Dirt Cheap Car Rental on google. We needed a car with a good MPG rating, that didn't need to be the newest possible model and wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg. I browsed through offers of many other car rental agencies near the airport and old town area.
For the 8 days that i was going to be needing a car in SD the price i would have had to pay, at a larger car rental agency, was on average around 750$ (with insurance included). This only being my second time ever having rented a car, i wasn't sure if this price was reasonable, however it was definitely too high for my budget.
I decided to give this company a try because of their great amazon reviews and their practical location in old town. I am so glad i did.
I ended up being able to rent a 2016 Kia Rio with, on average, a 30mpg rating. I was so happy and barely payed anything for gas, even though we were constantly driving around SD. For 30$ i was even able to extend my insurance and take a day trip up to Joshua Tree National Park.
The car was in great shape, only a few scratches here and there.
I payed around 255$ for the 8 day rental (with insurance included!) - awesome!!!
The customer service was great, returning the car went quickly.
I will absolutely rent from this agency again! A well deserved 5 stars.

Your experience with this car rental service depends on what you expect. I wanted a cheap car where I didn't care about the condition of the car. So I got a cheap car with the expected signs of wear and tear. When my car broke down, the car was immediately swapped for a better car.
The staff are very friendly.
If you are looking for cheap cars with good service, I can fully recommend this rental. However, if you are looking for flawless and accident-free cars and have more budget, I would recommend viewing the car beforehand, if possible.

One of my tires blew out, and with any other car rental company this would've cost a fortune, but with them it only cost me time. The car had a spare tire in the back, and the tire was replaced a day later at a local tire shop, free of charge. Could not have wished for a better outcome. Highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about this company! I recently rented with them a couple weeks ago, for the second time, and was once again blown away with the customer service. The first rental was an older model, but ran perfectly. The second rental was a new model, which also ran great. The staff are what make this place the absolute best! Both experiences were great. They take their time answering any questions, make sure everything is clearly understood, helped me with directions, were friendly, the list goes on and on. I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't not share my experience. I will be using them again and will recommend them as much as possible!

The staff were straightforward and professional, explained everything to me and were hella accommodating.
The prices were phenomenal compared to every other place.
They checked for a phone holder for me yo use my GPS and luckily had one, lending it to me at no extra charge.
Champions, will definitely use again. Coming back for that mustang.

Okey so here's the most honest review, i read a lot of stuff on the reviews about bad customer service before getting there car. but when i went there, i got a realllyyyy cheap price compared to any other place, 700 a month instead of 2500 minimum for competitors. Plus i was UNDER 21. i had a slight issue with the payment processors but the company was so helpful and especially a guy working there named CJ, they fixed my problem and gave me a compensation, they even proposed to give me an. extra week rent free or a more powerful car. you would definitely find nothing better for the same price. I really do recommend this company and would look forward to rent from them again.

They gave me a good deal for 10 weeks rental and the car was in pretty good condition, ran fine. The process was quick and easy, no tricks and the staff was friendly.
