I was tasked with feeding 35 people at a company picnic and was working on a budget. I decided to go with a couple six foot subs and wanted to go local, not chain. Living in HB, I just searched up the local Delis and found DeSimone. Everything was perfect. Got one American & one Italian, and both got rave reviews from my teams. Plenty of dressings, pickles, and peppers were provided, the staff was kind and helpful, and I stayed well under budget. Wonderful experience. Thanks for helping to make our summer picnic a success!

First, I come here for the food. This place has been around 20 plus years. Order a sandwich here and you will see why. Fresh delivery meats and cheeses prepared the way their grandfather made it and wrapped in butcher paper. I highly recommend the pastrami with cheese, mustard, and pickle. There's something about that combination on that Crunchyroll they put it on that makes it just melt in your mouth. I do wish they had a size between the regular and large. The regular leaves me wanting where the large is a double and more than I can finish at a setting. They have the usual chips and drinks available. The people are always friendly and seemed eager to please. The place usually has a line. There's a few tables out front but they're rarely available unless you come early before 11am or late after 1pm. If you like a good sandwich come here you won't be disappointed. The only negative I can think of is they probably haven't redecorated in quite a while but again I don't come for the atmosphere I come for the food.

DeSimone Deli & Bakery in HB is awesome. Sandwiches are great, but it’s more than just that. Lasagna on Wednesdays and Thursdays is excellent. Desserts are amazing too, totally worth it. Staff’s very nice, definitely swing by!

Awesome staff and service. I like the personal atmosphere the store gives off. Sandwhiches cant be beat for their price and taste. Tuna Salad is my personal favorite. Freshness cant be faked and this store shows that clearly.

I was shown this place by a friend and fell in love. Easily in my top 3 sandwich places ever. Prices are unbeatable and the amount of food you get is amazing. You pay an extra quarter and get double your drink size. They also make their own bread pudding, finally tried it, and it's amazing. So many different options too. The freshness of the sandwiches is amazing, as they cut the meat there and make sure everything is perfect for you. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. Definitely recommend this place to any sandwich lovers.
