The mural room by Bernard Thomas is truly amazing! Finished in the mid-1970s, the mural was commissioned by a local banker (A.E. Dahl). The fantastic details are rendered in spectacular fashion. Lovely little local arts center with a few galleries hosting temporary exhibitions and an impressive mural of American history painted for the bicentennial. The small gift shop is worth perusing. Nice place to escape the streets for half an hour or so if you’re downtown.
