Won’t tell you whether or not they can fill your meds if you’re trying to have a script transferred from 1 CVS to another… they won’t tell you if your medication is in stock & will only tell you after your doctor sends your refill request over. which then… if they don’t have it in stock you have to call your doctor again.. have the doctor then call them & cancel the request & then have thr doctor resend it to another pharmacy… & do this all over again until someone approves it. which as you can imagine is a nightmare. Especially when you’re not your doctors only priority & they don’t have the time to be sitting on hold all day & sending & canceling prescriptions every 20 minutes. EVERY OTHER CVS will tell you this info without the headache of transferring & sending & canceling & resending as long as you have an active prescription on file for the meds you’re looking for. This location refuses to help at all. My medicine is out of stock at other CVS’s. I’ve been trying to transfer it all day. One CVS told me this is my best bet to have it refilled before I leave for vacation for the next 2 weeks. But my doctor is extremely busy is not going to keep taking my calls everytime a CVS cancels the refill request or calling every CVS & sitting on hold all day (even on the doctors extension which isn’t any shorter) so now I can’t find a place to fill my meds… they’re not help here & now idk what to do. I understand they have reasons for this.. but also I have an active script that I they can see when I call! I don’t get why they can’t just tell me “yes we can fill it! Have your doctor send it over!” Or “no we can’t! Sorry for the inconvenience” It’s really not that hard nor is this putting anyone at risk by giving a “yes or no” to a customer with an active prescription. Especially when every other CVS can do this but for some reason they cant? This is such a headache. If this were every CVS’s policy. It would make more sense to me. But being that it’s not… it makes zero sense. Obviously it’s not that big of an issue or that big of a problem to give a yes or no answer to an existing customer when every other CVS is fine doing so.

They are 2 days behind on filling prescriptions. If you try calling, you’re on hold for at least 10-15 minutes. The pharmacists are nice and understanding but getting ahold of them and getting prescriptions on time is rare.
