A long time ago, I had surgery for stomach cancer, and since then, I no longer have a stomach. Recently, I've been struggling with severe hypoglycemia, leaving me feeling weak. Despite that, I wanted to take a moment today to express my gratitude for the help I received.
A couple of days ago, I received a call from the CVS I usually go to (store #576). They informed me that the Freestyle Libre 3 sensor I use was on backorder and suggested that I check other CVS stores or Target. Two days later, I gathered the strength to leave the house and visited the CVS at 298 McKinley, but unfortunately, they didn’t have the sensor either. However, a kind staff member informed me that store #1165 had 16 units in stock and suggested I try there.
After driving to store #1165, I found that the stock had already run out. However, pharmacist Mr. Andrew kindly checked the inventory at other CVS stores, made a phone call to confirm availability, and even placed an order for me. Thanks to his help, I was able to drive to CVS at 1675 Hollenbeck and successfully pick up the product.
I’m deeply grateful to CVS #1165 and Mr. Andrew for their kindness in checking the inventory and helping me get the necessary medication today, despite how busy they were.
