I just read this post on Yelp review and I am checking my card and finding out that I was fraudulently charged $5 a month for something I didn't agree to. The older gentleman cashier. I remember him always asking me if I wanted to sign up for it and he says oh you're already signed up for it. You're good! That made me confused every time thinking about what did he say that I'm already signed up for. I don't remember signing up for it.
Just checked my bank statement and I've been getting charged $5 a month for nearly 9 months and I'm going to report fraud to the bank and possibly file other charges or find a way to stop this from happening in the future, I too am thinking about the elderly and how many possibly have been taken advantage of with this CVS extra Care Plus program that I was not aware of being signed up for. Here's the story I just read and that's why I am posting this as well.
CHECK YOUR RECEIPT WHEN USING YOUR DEBIT CARD!! The morning shift Supervisor is well known to the management staff for enrolling customers into the Extra Care+ membership without their knowledge. They know he steals $5 from customers with the enrollment but the managers don't care because it makes their numbers high and they get their bonuses. Last time I checked that was bank fraud. But they just laugh like it's a scene from a sitcom and tell the customers to call corporate. The older gentleman is getting $3 per enrollment ( enrolling at least 10 people a day) and management could care less! So again, check your receipts! Bank fraud and personal gain from store staff should not be something customers should worry about! Think about how many elderly people were taken advantage of. Sick for management ( including DM who obviously sees the numbers) to treat customers like that just for a bump in numbers. I wanted to say something but my job was at risk. But now that I don't work there
