They do not take your need for medication seriously, and do not respect customers. This has got to be one of the most entitled stores I've ever seen. Rite Aid used to be #1, they are gone. I would not mind if CVS was replaced by a pharmacy that actually acknowledged that the customers are there for business, and not there for the convenience of the pharmacy employees. Making people wait for a half an hour for your lunch, then another 20 minutes to get a prescription...... The person taking care of the woman in front of me was even dismissive to that ladies questions, and was trying to get her to get her COVID shot. When the lady paid, and walked away, I walked up, and the pharmacy tech placed the "next register" sign, and said she would be back in a minute, then went back on her computer like there was no one waiting. I will try again tomorrow. Hopefully such a RUDE employee is not there. I will ask my doctor if I can get my prescriptions else ware. I also sent an email to Walgreens to let them know a new pharmacy is needed on the edge of Selinsgrove. I write this after 2 years of frustration with this store's approach to customers. I get better service in NYC. To serve the woman in front of me, then deny me service could also be considered discriminatory, and I will take that issue up with another party to see if that happens a lot at this store. They need new management. This store is almost a half an hour away from me, so just the travel round trip in an hour. I will have spent over 3 hours after I return tomorrow, to get my prescription. I was not willing to start a verbal argument with someone so rude today. HOPEFULLY there will be a different employee at the register. I do customer service, and if I EVERY did that to one of my customers, I would expect to loose them, and to get a review like this. BTW the other employee that said "oopsie daisy" a couple of times yesterday did not help my confidence in the professionalism, or competence of the people handling medication for DR.'s patients. They do NOT take your health seriously, (Unless you get their flu, and COVID shots, then they care. )
Update: I returned today, and Ann Weller still would not serve me. Luckily Michelle was willing, and kindly took care of getting my filled prescription to me, and was pleasant. When a girl behind me in line stepped up Ann quickly took care of her. Discrimination in ANY FORM for ANY REASON should not be tolerated. I don't know her, she does not know me. Maybe it's because I'm a Vet, maybe because I'm a guy, maybe she doesn't like brown jackets, or black hats. I don't know, but I take it personally that I would have to wait longer than other customers from the person with a certificate right under the main Pharmacist. For any Pharmacy employee to selectively distribute medication to customers for any reason other than availability of the prescription is wrong. To make some customers wait extra time, while promptly taking care of others is discriminatory, and I will find another pharmacy, unless I don't have an option. I don't believe in discrimination in any form, for any reason.
