Because of a mistake by the insurance company, I faced hours on the phone and hundreds of dollars refilling a prescription. We all know the story it’s not the pharmacist fault there’s nothing they can do. The insurance company spends hours passing you along from person to person and you hope the next time you go the situation is resolved.
With few expectations, we went to the pharmacy today to collect the prescription that had previously been unavailable through no fault of the pharmacy. Knowing insurance had changed because of the new year, we were expecting to come out with a list of what we needed to do to get the prescription..
A pleasant surprise when everything went through as it should have back in the last week of December. My guess is the pharmacist who had helped us along the way I believe his name is Kevin processed it through the system in a way. That reflected the insurance companies, error and made our day a lot easier.
All of the pharmacist at this site have been nothing but helpful, despite being completely overwhelmed at time, processing prescriptions for foreclosed stores as a result of the flood. The shelves are always stocked, and the checkout people are always more than helpful to find coupons and deals to save the customer money.
