I like the smaller store style a lot but even the limited items they do offer are rarely in stock.It’s not always safe to be here as a single female with male patrons frequently harassing women.They no longer allow baskets because “forcing the customer to use a cart makes them buy more” (as I was told by an employee)

This Cub is my favorite cub. The blueberries I have bought the last 2 times have shocked me with how big and juicy they are. I take pictures of the blueberries so I can remember how amazing they are for years to come. They are the best blueberries I have ever seen in my 22 years on earth. I am honestly shocked at the blueberries size and just how good they are. I will always return to this cub to try and grasp the euphoric high I had when I first saw these berries.

Baby Cub: doesn’t have everything you might need, but comes pretty close to having a great selection regardless. Bakery has good stuff, as does the butcher. Lots of good candy and some pharmacy necessities. My only gripes are that I sometimes find expired merch (I even told multiple staff weeks apart about the same product!!) and staffing is sometimes tight, which creates loooong lines at busy times.

Produce can be bad here. Green bananas and avocados do not ripen properly when brought home. They just get old and gross. Either Cub is storing them improperly or buying them from a supplier who is storing them improperly.Self-checkout works alright. But there are unnecessary barriers. Why can I add a product but not remove a product? I accidentally scan things twice sometimes, because it's a difficult barcode to scan, and then I have to call over the attendant.I would also appreciate baskets being available. This is the only store I've seen that doesn't have baskets.Also, prices are not particularly accurate. It's common to see a different price (always higher) ring up once you get to the checkout.

Was only 1 register open. We have WIC so we have to use a register. The woman ringing up the person in front of us said “THIS AINT MY JOB IM NOT RINGING YALL UP” I asked if she can call someone up to ring and she said “go ask someone else I’m customer service”That’s how y’all treat people?

I went tonight shopping to the store on 46th. I took Bella my ser ice dog and a young female security officer informed me that animals were not allowed in store. I said she's a service animal and she asked to see any paper work I had proving that . Not stopping my stride I said I didn't need any paper to show her . Then I stopped walked back to her and explained that Bella is an alert dog from my diabetes. She then rudely turned her back to me and said I was being rude and disrespectful. I said no I'm explaining myself to her which I didn't need to do , to assure her wasn't being rude. So I plead with that stores management to speak to the security guard about the reasoning behind her truly questioning me the real motivation for that. Then the air of pent up hostility coming from her when I stopped myself from walking rudely by her to answer and explain to her a little more in depth so as to not be rude to her.

Store is nice so are the managers. But most of the employees and the lost prevention peeps are quite rude and say uncalled for things big time. I am in there 4 times a week I live less then a block from there but I found myself rearranging my day to go to another store way further away cuz they can't seem to treat there customers with any respect or kindness. But the manager and a couple employees are very nice and helpful as I said before.

Don’t go in if you dress alternative or look grungy in any way. They will instantly think you’re stealing. They made us leave our bags up front and my friend stayed to watch them. (Because who the hell would leave their bag out in the open in Minneapolis!) While she was waiting she saw multiple people walk in with backpacks who were never even acknowledged.If you’re planning on stealing just make sure to dress like you have money and have white skin. Security sits at the door and does nothing but act like a Walmart greeter while their employees pick and choose who they’re going to profile based on looks.

I shop at this "boutique" CUB if I just need a couple, rather everyday items and it's on my way home. They don't always have the items I'm looking for. They have an extensive deli as well as full service meat counter yet self service offerings are limited. Frozen food options are also limited. They must have a marketing strategy for a niche market that I'm obviously not a part of. I do shop regularly at the CUB stores on 60th/Nicollet and M'haha/Lake.

Hi, I did give a review under the wrong location Oops! I shop mpls cub after service on Sunday. My issue is the cub food (card) not being able 2 purchase sale items w/o card, this is unfair, besides that u need a computer 2 sign up 4 card! A Customer should b able 2 get a card from customer service or stop this card nonsense. Plus the being spided on while shopping needs 2 stop, this is a small store.Thanks 4 listening.

Good location for a quick shopping trip if you need a few things. If you’re trying to do the bulk of your shopping at this location; I strongly recommend going to either the Nicollet Ave., Northside, Quarry, Lake St., or Uptown locations to get your shopping done. The reason for this is because of the skimpy selection that is available at this location. There are many things that don’t have the wide variety of different brands to choose from. I feel that this is due to the shamefully wasted space of having their deli and bakery departments too big for the square footage of this store.

I like this grocery store. It's got apartments above the store which is so cool. There's plenty of parking. Inside has the average products and produce any grocery store would have. I had to pay for plastic bags when checking out or at least it asked how many bags I would be paying for so I'm assuming that's what it was referring to.

They really need to stop changing their hours constantly and bring back late night hours for thos who only have the time to shop after working a night shift.They need to improve their security, if you are a Cub executive reach out to me as I am a professional Food & Beverage consultant from Las Vegas and I have some ideas that would help secure your property and help with guests confidence in feeling safe there.

This store has terrible priorities!It's more important to catch potential shoplifters than to be decent to customers.The website, Google, & the entryway doors all say: "Open 24 Hours."But at 11:35pm, the cashier hangs a notice: "Closing at midnight."My family shopped there earlier that day & were unaware of the midnight closing. I arrived minutes BEFORE they posted the notice…So, I'm listening to my podcast w headphones, shopping leisurely as I unwind after work. A super tall, angry looking man approaches me so swiftly that my stomach sank & acid swelled up in my throat; I ran to the end of the aisle.NEVER APPROACH anyone (especially a WOMAN) so quickly, with adversarial body language & an angry expression. A 6'2" tall, 30-something white male employee shoulder realize that his behavior is threatening, esp to a petite 5' tall elder woman.When I held onto the cart and looked down to compose myself, he had the nerve to bellow at me:"What's wrong with you? I said we're closing, why are you just standing there?" I was in fff →< Freeze | Fight | Flight >When I realized what he was saying and that he worked there, I was still moving SLOWER, not my fault I needed to deal w the adrenaline.💫Grocery stores like Cub are hurt by shoplifters probably, so I understand why they're suspicious.I disagree with profiling: it's discriminatory.Security harassed a native man w backpack, accused him of stealing and joked to each other that he's a "Crackhead" bc he was sweating. 🎒😓He rode his bike there! 🚲He's my neighbor. He owns a duplex, a car, work truck, boat etc He's not poor and no thief!The same security team treated this white woman in a cheap pant suit holding a gigantic faux leather tote bag (more capacity than the backpack!) Well.Some black dude in jeans and an overweight white lady calling themselves "security" -both without ID or any way to identify themselves: they didn't ask for HER bag. The purse-carrying office worker was treated great bc she looked the part!THAT'S DISCRIMINATIONMeanwhile, I saw her drop coffee, spices & cheeses into her bag! I didn't tell on her bc she put it all back and bc security wouldn't listen to reason...Because security was too concerned w me! They advised me that I was shoplifting!They called me a thief and insisted I leave. They didn't let me buy my stuff or get my PCA clients: 3 vulnerable adults in my charge!I had $200 cash, their SNAP food cards and pharmacy was filling their meds! I couldn't go inside to get them, security would Not make an announcement or listen to me at all. Non Emergency police had to come to fetch my clients as I had no way to tell them to come out now! Way to go Cub Security! 👍 You kicked me out bc I LINGER too long.Do you consider there might be a reason for a person's behavior? Why can't you listen or ASK questions? Why automatically ASSUME WORST INTENT!?Another PCA had to come pickup from the pharmacy so our clients would have their meds & we had to shop elsewhere, again.Stop your DISCRIMINATIONPls stop judging people who don't drive, are native, black, Hispanic, white, foreigner, elder, wearing a white collar suit or a blue collar 🚧, are sweating, look poor, have mental illness, carry a backpack, lingers, is purple, has spots or is "taking too long."And, maybe you can inspect my backpack at checkout, but don't expect me to leave my bag in front when you lack a safe place to store my backpack. And please remember: disposable plastic bags are not the answer!It's not shady or a sign of shoplifting to carry a backpack!Often, my backpack is full bc I've been shopping at other stores or have my PC, rode bike there, but even if I was homeless, everyone deserves dignity! We used to live this location. Recently their service has gone downhill. My husband went in the middle of the day had too many items for the self checkout. There were staff all over the store stocking shelves, but no cashier. When he asked the person running self checkout, they said, "oh they are break and should be back in 5 mins." No attempt was made to get another cashier or to offer assistance.

this store was very clean and good but people scammed over price make sure supervisor always have to be around there .because Two times charge me with out nothing Automatica from my card try to check product Even that product not in that’s store it’s charge me for it.after word I call sale associate it’s removed item from my list two times.

I used to love shopping here but they recently made all of their coupons only available if you have the app. I don’t mind getting it but it kinda seems like false advertising to say something is “on sale” and have it only apply to a very small portion of customers who have the app. And the reviews for the app say it’s horrible. I don’t like arriving at the check out only to find the thing I thought was on sale, and listed as such, isn’t actually, and a coupon isn’t even available in paper form.

This Cub has failed me and was negligent in their responsibility to help me. I rode my bike p to Cub and left my bike in the entryway. I quickly got milk and paid and found my bike was stolen when I left the store and my cash the security and manager did no help in fixing it except taking sides and did no help for me horrible jobs for both of them and avoid this Cub for all reasons they are incomplete as a store Ll around . Do not go to this Cub horrible all I can say.

New and upscale grocery featuring ready made meals and quick eats along with standard grocery fare. Produce is varied with both organic and regular offerings though some are in limited amounts. I found lots of potatoes, onions, and fruit for example but only a few types of leafy vegetables of sometimes variable quality. They do carry some unusual tropical fruits. Basically there are lots of options but each is limited in quantity since it's a smaller store.Packaged goods are the same, a bit of everything in small amounts. They do feature a good amount of chicken, often on sale, with fewer cuts of beef and pork, somewhat pricey.There is a marvelous bulk food section with nuts, grains, dried fruit, granola, and a wonderful selections of teas. There's a very good Earl Grey in particular. I think the bulk food section is one of the strongest features at this store. There's also a bulk honey dispenser which is pretty cool, flawed only by the fact that the only container they offer is a small "honey bear" plastic one no different than you can buy off the shelf at a lesser price. However you do get the choice of two different types of honey in bulk.Basically its a good store, but one star off for the inconsistent leafy produce and the limited frozen foods section.Edit: the bulk foods section has been greatly reduced, the honey is gone and so is the wonderful selection of teas. For me that was its biggest draw but I suppose it wasn't selling well or the upkeep was too much.

This place worked for me above and beyond my expectations. I had a ton of laundry to do. I was able to use exactly the machines I needed. They had ample machines. The guy who was working there was really helpful. I learned it was his family’s business. Great service! He gave me some helpful tips. The best part of it was the surrounding stores and restaurants. I kept myself busy taking care of my other shopping needs and came back to transfer my laundry to the dryer. I felt confident that it was safe to leave and comeback as needed. I was not disappointed.

Every time I come to this cub foods, all one has to do is "be observant" and you'll see a person (usually with a backpack) walking around the store (usually round the frozen foods Isle or the meats/seafood area and I'll watch them put items in their backpack and they will just "walk out the exit doors"!!!! Not a soul is aware of it!!!!!!!If cub goods has to charge the paying customers for the loss of thievery........, why do you let this happen? If you continue to allow thievery, "Cub Foods should absorb the loss....." I will stop shopping the "ghetto Cub Foods". (Lake St, 46th St, 60th St.)I see this "every visit"! I tell an employee and they say "well, it's too late now"!Maybe I should just push my cart out the exit door too, I'd save $75 - $150!!!!!!!

I really like this pared-down Cub. I can get in and out pretty quickly, especially if I do the self-check out. Since it is smaller, it does not have as much merchandise as the full sized Cub stores so you kind of have to know what they have there. But but in general I've always been very happy with their produce, bakery, deli and meat department. Oh and They also have a lot of prepared food, both hot and cold so you can run in and get a quick meal and not have to go home and cook it! Oh, and and a Starbucks. They have a person cleaning carts as well. The store is clean too.

Great store. New and beautiful, with a nice cafeteria area and parking behind the building. It doesn't have the warehouse feel of other Cubs and the aisles were gloriously free of boxes. The negatives are minor: the prices on some items are more than normal Cub stores, they aren't fully stocked of all brands or items, and it's not 24 hours (opens at 5 a.m.). Otherwise I'll drive out of the way to go here for sale items that I know will be priced the same as other Cubs.

Clean, organized store where our family does most of our shopping. If you live close by, then this is likely the store for you. The store specializes in pre-made, hot foods, and things like that to cater to the apartments above. We have never tried these things. We use it as a grocery store only and it has been good for these mostly quicker trips. Sometimes we have to make the trek to the Lake Street come for less common items that are not carried at this much smaller location. The produce section is fairly good and fresh.

Always open and great place to stop in the middle of the night for emergency items or if you're visiting and need to go somewhere before or after the airport. It's near the blue line lightrail.Be warned. The store is clean and new but you exchange it for the Police presence. The officer presence is not friendly and will definitely eyeball you as if you are misplaced. Though employees are better than that . . . They aren't rude but not friendly either. They are doing their job. Which I appreciate.

Love the bread, nice asthetics to shop in, but no one sanitizing carts, a do-it yourself station at the door. A sign telling the limit of shoppers for safe-distancing, but no one monitoring the flow. Management was dealing with a disgruntled shopper with no mask at the back of the store, but it made me leave before I was done shopping. No disinfecting of belt at register.

My hours tend to be more nocturnal. When I discovered that they were open 24/7 I ran my pallid, vitamin D deficient body over.The store is kept in incredible order. Always in great shape. They almost always have what I'm looking for. My favorite part... Self check out!!! More times then not they're on at my hours which isn't an issue, not many people at that time to have them running.Overall, I give it a big ol..... Ahhhh! The sun! *Hiss*

So I've been going here for awhile. Classic case of when sh*ts good no one leaves a reply and I will update when I try the hot food bar againOK hot food... Fries are like hollow and dry for most part, some are like chips.Burrito was a rough experience the nice young guy making it had no idea what meat was what (inclined to say: not his fault) and the meat had for sure been sitting along with rice.It's not really edible. It could be my mind but it just doesn't taste right. I'll try it again someday but not for awhile.

Incomplete selection of Cub items, especially limited in Everyday Essentials choices. Organization is so different from full-sized Cub stores and is more confusing than helpful. Checkout is usually fast, though not always. I would echo an other reviewer's recent comments about this location being too relaxed about employees and customers not wearing masks. Entering and exiting is easy enough, and there is plentiful bike parking as well.

This location is a fantastic revamp of the classic Cub foods. It's modern, welcoming, and has incorporated local touches like Breadsmith breads. The signs and open layout make it easy to find what you are looking for. I especially like that you can get a number of prepared foods to-go. They also have self-checkout areas as well as traditional checkouts and the lines are pretty fast.
