The poor rating is due to the receptionist who although has a very professional tone throughout an interaction, does not seem to try to problem solve if there is an issue. Excuses are made, and eventually, the only fix for the issue is to pay again for an entirely new appointment. My prescription was incorrect when i picked up my new glasses from the optical counter. When I called the Drs office w the concern that the prescription was no where close to allowing me to see, the receptionist said the only fix was to have an entirely new eye exam and pay all over again. Although the prices here are more reasonable, it makes sense if the drs office is making you pay for at least 2 eye exams to get it right. At this point, it seems more like a money pit w no end in sight. I hope the office reads this and encourages staff to help customers instead of creating more problems for us.
Update 3 months later -After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get my prescription right I just gave in. This place literally drove me to getting LASIK surgery instead. If you value time, efficiency, courteous service and professionalism, and being able to get a prescription you can actually see out of, look elsewhere. This place was an absolute waste of time. Shame on them the first time and shame on me every time after.
