I bumbled in about 2:55 pm on a very cold Sunday December 22nd, bundled against the wind. Must have been a sight. Found three Nordic pie tins, needed 4. Asked, and off someone went, and, voila! I had the fourth! Got reassured they'd do the trick for a recipe. Was reassured it would. Grabbed the massive Nordic roaster pan, and now I'm dangerous. I ask for a place to perch. No problem. Mind you, the store is hoppin! Slowly, my pile grew, and when in a bind, I asked for help. These people know their stock and know their stuff!! The pile got so unruly by the cashiers, one unknowing clerk asked if she could re-stock the stuff, and everyone else chimed, "No! that's a customer's purchase." LOL. No one hassled me. All checked for stock, explained confusing labels, asked about America Made for me, found pieces in boxes, figured out pastry sheet versus silicone mat (I took both!), politely, quickly. Checking out and packing up in my bags, stacking it up so I could walk back to the public parking on Brace Road was lightning fast. As I left, a clerk expressed concern if I could make it! I bellowed, "I'll be fine!" or similar. And, I was fine. It felt like I was carrying the prize turkey in a Christmas Carol, as I could barely see over the stack. However, it was so well packed, it was effortless. I still had a finger free for the traffic light to cross Farmington Avenue! Most importantly, I was ELATED. I was beaming. I had accomplished my goal in one shop. If you are truly searching for above and beyond the call of duty and quality service, shop here. If you are searching for a wonderful array of baking products, that odd piece of bakeware (pie tins for Scottish meat pies-- check!!), some killer hot sauce (check!), duck fat (good substitute for lard = saved me a trip to a grocer!! CHECK!!), red wine vinegar (yessssss), something different, you'd better shop here. I'll be back for my metal teapot in the blue box after New Year's Day. Reminder: They close at four on Sundays. I left at 345 pm. Love you, Cookshop Plus. Bravo! Ten stars out of five stars, once again.

This shop is awesome! Very helpful and friendly staff. They have such a good variety of kitchen ware and kitchen gadgets you won't find just anywhere. Great selection and a lot of funny/cute knick knacks. Good place to stop for your kitchen/cook friends or family!

Incredible kitchen supply shop. The staff was extremely helpful. There iscalso a cafe bar in the middle of the store... Ask the British man to make you a cafe latte. He properly makes an authentic Italian cafe latte. Best in CT!!
