Read Moremy kid got one for her birthday. out of the box, the wheels were so badly out of true that the bike was unsafe to ride because the brakes would not work. called the company and were told that "out of true" is not covered and that we would have to take it to a bike shop and have it fixed out of pocket, we will not be reimbursed for the expense. the front reflector supposedly goes on the handlebars, but does not fit properly and not comes loose and becomes useless very easily (so, that's not safe, either). their customer service is atrocious. the bike is designed badly, it is over priced, and it comes in need of repair out of the box. also, there's no kickstand included. and the handlebars are not height-adjustable. it would have been better to go to a bike shop (or even Walmart!) and just pick out a simple bike for less than half the cost and not have to take it to get repaired before the kid can ride it. we're out a $50 repair fee and no bike for a week while it gets repaired. hopefully it *should* be finally safe to ride.
