Read MoreIv’e shopped at this thrift store a handful of times and service has always been just okay — today I walked in and immediately a staff member asked “is it your first time in” and I replied “no”, she then proceeded to say “oh, because you came in with a look like it was your first time” and said nothing else. It wasn’t said in either a polite or rude way but very bleak. Truthfully just not a great way to be greeted. Maybe instead, “hi, how are you? Is this your first time in”? Welcome!”. I proceeded to walk around the store feeling uncomfortable. I walked by the very back room where a couple of staff members were chatting — I looked at one and smiled and without a spoken word or smile she shut the curtain right in front of my face. Unacceptable behavior and I won’t be returning to this store. As a small note of kindness to the lady who shut the curtain, I wouldn’t feed your grandson cheerios, there was an ingredient just found in two Kelloggs products (including cheerios) that causes cancer.
