This is regarding the store on Dobson Road in Mesa, AZ. I wrote a review on Google, and the "response from the owner" directed me to this location. On 3/2/2025 I stopped at this location to get gas. I was travelling with my 4 year old grandson. He had an urgent need to use the bathroom. The men's bathroom was closed, and I asked permission to take him into the women's bathroom. THERE WAS NO OTHER CUSTOMER IN THE STORE. The manager said "No. I cannot allow this. If I do, I will be fired." I pleaded to no avail. I asked the "manager" if I could have the address of the store so that I could leave feedback in an attempt to have him more empowered to help Circle K customers and to assist him to improve a work environment that he characterized as "fearful." Threats to be fired for assisting children with a bathroom need would indeed be a fearful work environment. HE INSISTED THAT HE DID NOT KNOW THE ADDRESS OF THE STORE! I cleaned up the predictable mess that occurred. Now, I am asking you to clean up your mess. IF you do indeed supervise your employees through fear and intimidation to the point where they cannot show compassion for the bathroom needs of a 4 year old child, you really need to make some changes. AND if on the other hand, you have a rogue employee that simply failed in their duties, please address the issue. Thank you for your time and concern.
