I have been to MANY barbershops in the river region and in Hawaii from where I’m originally from, and I have never experienced a barbershop of this caliber. First, you walk in and see a classic barbershop pole, you hear up beat music, and then you feel a very “chill” vibe from the environment and a welcoming invitation from the employees. From day one, I have always let the owner, James, cut my hair. A basic haircut is $30 and I thought it was kind of high compared to the other haircuts that I have received. However, after looking at the masterpiece that James left on my head, it was well worth the $30 dollars. Every time I get a haircut from James, it somehow looks better and better. You might think that I am exaggerating but I am being dead honest. I know I always go with James, but I heard from different people in the shop, my coworkers, and James himself told me that his fiancé cuts guy’s hair the best, and that Dave is an overall awesome barber as well. If you are considering going to The Chop Shop, I 110% recommend it. Great environment, great people, and an amazing haircut.
