Two stars were docked for the sole reason of the main woman working there and just having a jerkish / negative /annoyed attitude the whole time. When it comes to kids and cards, you'd think she be a tad nicer and more optimistic. We asked to see one of the pokemon box sets and they were giving the vibe of not letting us see it and would rather just tell us what was in it...When it comes to kids buying things, especially cards, they will more likely be sold on the visual aspect...not verbal facts. My last complaint is for them to make price tags more visible. Some things are bold and visibly priced, but most items are just the small faint sticker tags. When standing behind the counter and having everything 10 feet up high, it makes it really hard to see. Everytime we asked about price or contents in the box/package, she just seemed annoyed.
I've been supporting Chimera Hobby Shop for years, but I feel they could use a re-vamp in the customer service category.
Overall, the new store location is nice. Selection is great as always. Prices are competitive which is understandable in this current card collecting market.
