Much more of a huge play space than a museum but what fun!! Our 6 year old had a blast but I can see a preschooler being in HEAVEN. An arts and crafts space set aside, then you walk into a spacious area chalk-full of imaginative play areas. Toy car ramps, a mini log cabin, fire station and slide. Loads of animals to identify. A bank with stamps and play money. An air traffic control tower, painted runway, and REAL aircraft cockpit to sit in. A pretty pink princess stage with shoes to dance in. Wooly mammoth bones and a sand table to dig in. Upstairs featured a whole mini town: grocery shop, doctors office, dental office, and cafe. Shoes off parkour area. Little library and reading book.
Our favourite, and child's two-story Lego building area!
Downstairs was also a real cafe for adults with a huge array of support literature and recommendations for local agencies.
I'm so glad we didn't miss this one, if you have a little, you've got to prioritize this. Low cost of admission and well worth it to keep this gem operating!
