Read MoreI have lived out in this area for years and have been coming to this gas station and market on occasion since. Since Covid began, they shut down their interior restroom and have had porta potty’s set up outside for customer use. Today, I stopped to use one and was taken aback by its condition. The men’s urinal had about 6 inches of pee backed up in it. The other porta potty was filthy and had no toilet paper. I went inside and asked if I could use their inside restroom since the porta potty‘s were so, so awful. The cash register attendant simply stared at me, blank faced and shook his head no. I’ve noticed a severe decline in the personability of their staff. I was stunned, not so much by the fact that they couldn’t open up their restroom (OK, another stringent and illogical policy), but by the mere lack of friendliness and customer service. Smile! You can absolutely see it through a mask. Open your mouth and speak to people. You can hear it through a mask.
