My first thoughts of the old status was "it's still Chevron gas" even though it was a little run down. It was lit well, but not bright and clean and as modern as other "less prestigious gas stations".
So the remodeled it a few months ago and they managed to fix lighting and it's shiny and bright and clean, but the prices which were probably discounted to bring back the consumer has settled in as the most expensive in the area. The one thing people come here for you raise. Meanwhile other Chevron's manage to have expensive everything in the store, but are within pennies of Shell. Something is going wrong here. Your doing it all wrong. Stabilize.
If you own and full sized truck, or even a Tacoma. Don't come here. It's tight, I've seen a King Ranch Ford literally have to be walked out and have traffic blocked for his 19 point turn because he thought he could make it. It's more his fault, but you know how the OC is, no one's gonna give you slack because they are probably just terrible drivers too. Just don't come here. I am not the bigger person and I'm not cutting you slack.
They are always out of cracked pepper flavored sunflower seeds and they need to up their selection of healthy refreshment. It's still Chevron gas, but you pay midas gold prices for it.
