Read MoreA great buying experience!! I have not bought a used car from a Dealership in many years, after several dealings that just left me feeling ripped-off and sorry. So instead I have bought NEW vehicles, this way I knew the vehicle should be at least near perfect. If I did by used, it was from an individual / owner, that way I knew they knew the vehicle. The problem buying from a small used car dealership, is usually they do not know the history of the vehicle, nor do I expect them to, to an extent. What I do expect is that the vehicle is worth what is being asked for it. I am a MINI Enthusiast that found an 05' MINI Convertible at CANDOR MOTORS that interested me. Made the effort to drive several hours to check it out. John greeted me immediately and allowed me to check the MINI out to my satisfaction. A short test drive gave me the confidence in the mechanics of the MINI, and upon return to the Lot, I asked if it would be possible to do an extended "test-drive", drive it home and keep overnight. A quick call to Benny (the Owner), and collateral left, I was on my way home. The drive home gave me the opportunity to really decide if this would be the next MINI I would be adopting. As an 13 yo MINI, I expected there to be issues, and there were. Some cosmetic, some things that didn't work, BUT Mechanically, near perfect. Benny did an awesome job picking this one up at auction. Having the chance to see the CARFAX report on the MINI definitely helped. Once I accessed the amount I would need to invest in fixing the minor things wrong with the MINI, I made an offer. The "Dealing" could not have gone any better. Simple and straightforward . My experience was GREAT, John did not "sell" me this MINI, he was very helpful,attentive,and considerate, but I knew I was going to adopt it as soon as I felt it was mechanically strong. I almost never write reviews, but when a business stands-out, and leaves me feeling positive about my experience, I just have to. I am sure not everyone will have the same experience I have had at CANDOR MOTORS, as they say "Your Mileage May Vary". Keep up the great job JOHN, and BENNY keep picking awesome vehicles at auction, and you will satisfy more buyers, like me. Thank You!! Continued Success!! Justin D.
