Service: Stella helped me both times I visited and she is incredible. She knows her scents, offers amazing advice as you build your candle and is incredibly patient as you go back and forth trying to figure out the perfect scent combo. She is a true gem, super sweet. I will be bringing more friends here again in the future and I will ask for her specifically.
Atmosphere: Located right in downtown Encinitas. Extremely clean environment with Instagrammy/vibey photo opps. You are never right on top of anyone else. I love the layout and how they organize your experience in steps.
For anyone that is curious, they have you first do a fun sniffy-sniff test of all of the wickless candles on display. They have TONS of scents to check out... there is no way that they don't have something for everyone.
You write down a list of all the scents you like, pick out a candle jar, then a staff member goes through you scent list and helps you narrow down 3-4 scents to make your candle. You then mix your own oil concoction of the scents you chose, then pour and mix it with wax in the candle jar you picked. At the end of the mixing process, you get to name your candle! They give you a label that goes on the underside of your candle. After about 1.5hours, you come back and your unique candle is ready. There are a bunch of places in the area to go hang at while you wait.
Price: Definitely a great deal for the experience. You technically only pay for the jars you choose (tons of cute options), which are in the $30-40 range. I did the buy 3, get 1 free deal. Worth it. The candles burn for a long time and have great throw. No regrets. Also, if you bring back your empty candle jars, you get a percentage off of your next purchase. I think it was 10% off.
