Hello team Cafe FC,
I usually order coffee from your cafe three times a week as you can see the photo I attached and appreciate the great taste and friendly service.
However, I recently experienced some inconsistencies in the order process that left me quite confused, and I’d like to bring them to your attention.
On January 29th, I placed an online order 20 minutes in advance. When I arrived at the cafe, I was told my coffee wasn’t ready yet, so I just said Okay and waited. While waiting, I saw three women walk in, place their orders and paid at the counter, and receive their drinks before I did. I was confused but I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I just took my coffee and left.
Today, I decided to place my order in person instead of online ordering because I felt like ordering online in advance is pointless at you cafe.
When I arrived at cafe, a lady was ordering at the counter, and a couple was selecting milk nearby.
Since the couple wasn’t in line and didn’t seem ready to order, I stood in line behind the lady.
However, when it was my turn, the staff told me, “Wait, they were here before you,” referring to the couple. Even though I was in line first and they weren’t even ready to order yet, I had to wait until they finished choosing everything they wanted to buy.
This inconsistency has been frustrating.
Could you clarify your order policy?
Do you prioritize online orders placed in advance, or do walk-in orders get served first?
Does the order of arrival matter, or does the actual placement of the order determine priority?
I genuinely enjoy your cafe and would love to continue visiting, but I believe a clearer and more consistent system would improve the customer experience.
