I want to share my horrible experience at Burlington located at 3166 S Highway 161 #100 Grand Prairie, TX 75052.My sister was here visiting from Overseas. She loves shopping at Burlington. Everytime she comes here, she spends thousands of $$ at Burlington stores. On Thursday, 06/24/21, I dropped my sister at Burlington store in GrandPrairie. She had a lot as usual to purchase and some returns. She shopped first and then waited in the long line to complete her transaction. She told the associate that she had items to return and items to but and asked if she could it in one transaction. She also had all the receipts available. The associate spent over 30min scanning her purchased items and then was unable to process the returns. She paged Tina who claimed she was the manager. Tina came thinking that she was able to help. My sister again spent again a long time trying to process her transaction. Tina was very rude to her. She was slamming the returns on the counter, mistreating my sister. At this point my sister decided to call me for help. I came to the store and stood next to my sister, in front of Tina at the counter. I respectfully asked Tina, do you have any issues processing my sister returns and purchase? She rudely ignored me. I repeated my question again and she replied saying I am not going to talk to you. I am only talking to your sister. I respectfully said, my sister does not speak perfect English and I am here to help if there is any miscommunication. She continued with her bad manners and unacceptable temper and said if you do not stop taking, I am not going to process your returns nor I will let you purchase anything from the store. I told her your job here is to process orders and returns. I told her you get paid to provide great customer service for Burlington clients. She started yelling at us and putting all the returns back in the bag and screaming loudly in front of all the customers that were in the line that she was not going to process the returns and throw the returns in the bag at us and also gave us the two bags of merchandise that we were trying to buy but she did not allow us to pay. I told her ma'am we have not paid for thus merchandise yet. She came running around the counter toward us and grabbed the two bags and yelled at us to get out if the store. I asked for a manager and she claimed she was the manager. I asked my sister to videotape her when she was putting back all the returns and refusing to process the transaction. When she realized we were video tapping her, she started to lie and said I called her a "Nigro". At this point, I could not believe that people like that exists. I told her I am African, why would I call you something like that. Tina insisted to kick us out of the store. On the way out, the sensor on the doors started peeping. I stopped and looked back and insisted to talk to a someone else other than this disrespectful lady Tina.Kristi then offered to help. I asked her to open our bag that had the returns and see what is peeping. She found three loose sensors thrown in the bag by Tina. She was trying to make it seems infront of everyone who only heard her rudeness that we were trying to steal and thats why she yelled at us and kicked us out.Kristi asked me to explain to her what happened. I did and she was able to professionally take care of us and process our returns and the purchase as well.We had such a horrible experience dealing with Tina. We were threatened, humiliated and mistreated. I would like to get in touch with the store manager as soon as possible.
