Read MoreI dropped off a few guns to this shop on consignment. I got my 1st few cheques. Then they said if you have more guns to sell you can drop off and they'll handle it. I dropped off 2 the following week, then 3 like a week later, then 2 more. In total, they had 10 guns on consignment for me. Since May 2023 to August 2023, they had 10 guns. When I visited the shop, I didn't see any on display. I asked if they were sold, and they said “yes but not picked up as yet. They'll be picked up that weekend”. I went back the Monday, and they said “the 2 most expensive ones where sold to a Davie cop”. They will call him to pick it up. The following week they told me “he was in training for 2 weeks so he didn't get a chance to pick them up”. The end of August 2023, he said “due to back to school, he couldn't pick them up”. He kept delaying to the following week. In October 2023, I told him I'm leaving the country for a few months so I want to take all my guns out of consignment. He stated that some got picked up so I should come in the day before my flight. He gave me cheques for 6 guns and said “if you got zelle, I'll transfer the rest this week because the rest supposed to be picked up”. So I agreed. While, I was away I texted him a few times no response; and when he did respond, it was a generic text "it's still selling". How can it be selling if it was supposed to be picked up? I texted him the following year (2024), “I'm returning to the states, I'll come by to get my guns” and he said cool. Upon arrival, the store was closed for renovation, so I texted him and he said come by Thursday. When I got there, I was greated by the associate and he messaged the owner. The owner said, “I will zelle you Friday and it never happened”. However, I received a portion via zelle but then he kept delaying and changing dates. I have informed them that I'm in a position where I needed the funds for my child's hospital bills, Dr visits and medications. I'm already overwhelmed with my child's situation and this is definitely not making it better. They had money to renovate, but had none to pay what they owe me so I can take care of my child's medical needs. Right now, February 2024, he still owes me and hasn’t responded back to my text. At this point, I'm taking legal actions.I would just stay away from these people. I really was hoping I didn't have to do this and I'm sure there's more people out there too.
