Incredibly rude employee.
I have been to this gas station three times before with my service dog in training, and there was no incident. Tonight, after I had purchased a couple things I went outside by the icebox to socialize my service dog. As I was doing a couple tricks with her, an old employee walked WAY (about less than 2 feet from my sdit) too close to us with a trash bag, and my 10 month old sdit got excited. I grabbed her as Fae went to go greet the lady and apologized, saying that she was in training. She replies with “I know thats not a real service dog”
Just because a service dog in training is “IN TRAINING” does not mean it is no longer a service dog. They still have the same rights, under ADA federal law. I tried to explain this as I decided to make my leave home. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful, completely ignorant to something she thought she knew all about- but she was literally speaking to someone who has first hand knowledge about it (because I’m the one with the service dog, obviously.) lack of knowledge/understanding of ADA law concerning service dogs in the business industry is disturbing and should be better trained, I shouldn’t have to worry about workers at gas stations saying that my service dog isn’t real and being straight up ableist just because she’s not a fully trained service dog.
Side note, there’s a cashier with tinsel in her hair, she’s really sweet and genuine and deserves a raise :)

No photos or videos, but have some photos/video of my “fake” service dog, according to gas station karen 🥰

The phone number for the store is not correct it says it’s not a working phone number but I went this morning got a chocolate milk which is spoiled and threw up everywhere this is absolutely unacceptable for any business to stock products that are no good. And then you can’t even get a hold of them in regards to it.
