Had not been here in a while, but came here back in July and loved all the exhibits. I was not able to see the Anime or Comic exhibit, but their main museum entry covers a lot of different art and styles. I loved all...Read More

What a pleasant surprise! The exhibits were well done and even with limited time, I left feeling inspired! I found street parking and found my 90 minute window to be just enough. I almost skipped the California Art, but was glad I...Read More

Worth to visit. Pay your parking at the front desk instead of thru the QR code outside. It's cheaper. Got few goodies from the gift shop. They are on sale and great price. 😘

Went for the Dias de los Muertes festival and loved in. Great addition to the community. I only attended the free portion of the museum. Based on that experience I'd recommend it to someone who lives in the area but not someone who is from...Read More

Went here again recently with my wife on a date and enjoyed it immensely. It’s not large but that means you can take your time and enjoy the various pieces and installations more deeply. I love their plein air pieces and the Tibetan Buddhist mandalas.

We were there are AREAA.org Orange County Chapter Installation Gala. It was outdoors and was a bit cold despite the heat lamps being provided. We spent the majority of the time outside enjoying the courtyard but not indoors at the museum.

I had a really wonderful time at the Bowers Museum. It's a lovely cultural museum in Santa Ana, probably one of the best in Orange County, but it makes a serious misstep in the Mission Indians exhibit that is really unconscionable and needs addressing. Parking...Read More

Pretty big museum with an extensive collection of art and SoCal history. The Hokusai exhibition costs extra but I would say it’s worth it to check out. I was pleased with this visit and would recommend going to anyone from the area or visiting.

Lots of cool art museum to admire. They even had a fun scavenger hunt too do! The special exhibit was about anime, it was large with lots of art. We spent about 1 1/2 hours but we had to leave early, could have easily spent 3.
