My wife and I visited Bob Tomes Ford dealership and had a very positive and informative unexpected visit. We were searching for the Ford Maverick and spoke with sales representative Joshua. He showed us the way where the Ford Mavericks were parked and answered our questions. We were able to look at several Mavericks, one in particular he opened up for us and let us view the inside. We were treated with excellent customer service and was not a "pushy" sales person. He gave us his business card and informed us we could contact him anytime when we were ready to purchase. The Ford lot was easy to maneuver through, both walking and driving, and is very clean.

***Update***So the manager for the used cars called me about the review. He mentioned that his team reviewed my post and brought it to his attention and he said the review is accurate. As I discussed with him my issues was with the warranty and how it was sold to me as a full bumper to bumper warranty.I purchased the warranty, service plan, and Gap insurance. I think total came close $5.5k.I know buying a used car has it risk and the warranty was my peace of mind. If I didn’t have to cover any of the issues I’d be perfectly fine keeping the car.I’m charging my star rating because the manager reached out to me and gave me some of my money back from the warranty.The SERVICE people great!!!! Sales I guess just make sure you cover all your bases and understand what you’re buying.My first bad vehicle purchase in my life!So in May 2024 I saw Bob Tomas ad for 2018 Ford Expedition platinum w/116k miles. To me that’s not much considering I’ve only owned Toyotas and Hondas. The vehicle was nice and in my budget, and we needed a family vehicle since I was having issues getting my vehicle from Guam.So I traded my 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD and that’s when it all went down hill. I bought the vehicle with what they said will be “Bumper to Bumper” warranty. Just like the manufacturers warranty. You won’t have to worry about anything for 2 years or 24k miles.I’m like ok…within 2 years I’ll trade up. Within the first month the engine light comes on and I bring it to Bob Tomas. We also noticed The rear hatch button didn’t work most of the time, During cold starts the engine would have a loud rattle like something is loose. The foot sensor for the rear hatch didn’t work at all. But the results from the engine light was the Catalytic Converter and it won’t be covered by the warranty. The cost for that was $3k.So first time in the shop:Replaced the Cam PhasersReplaced rear hatch button and sensorsReplaced Oil pan gasket because they found a leak.The battery needed to be replacedI needed to purchase a second key for them to program the rear hatch (I asked for one when all the papers were signed and they said it only came with one) that was never mentioned.So i took that bullet and paid to get the car fixed. I had no other choice. They did give me a $1k credit.So in all the vehicle was in the shop from June to early July. They did give me a loaner during that time.So another month goes by and the vehicle starts to overheat during rush hour traffic. Get the vehicle towed to Bob Tomas again.I was already on the list for a loaner to get the shocks fixed, the transmission checked, and to add screws to the rear bumper which I believe the technician forgot to put back on rear bumper. The rear bumper partially cane off on the freeway I’ll add pictures.So here we go it’s in the shop for the second time. The results bad radiator HVAC hoses and cost to repair $1300 and it won’t be covered by warranty. So here we go again another issue and it’s not covered by my $4k warranty.In the end Bob Tomas fixed:Overhauled TransmissionAdded hardware to the rear bumperReplaced just one shock when it’s recommended to replace it in pairs.Total cost: $880 that’s because I complained that ford prosper and Frisco quoted me $950 and local shop $650.So the issue I have was the way they treated me and my situation. I bought the vehicle based on a Bumper to Bumper manufacturer warranty and how it’s like a new car just bring it in and you’ll only pay the $100 deductible.I even wanted to buy a new one from them and they low balled me with a 18k trade in when I just bought the vehicle for 24k in May.So I went to GMC and they were going to give me $25k as well as Longo Toyota. I tried to give American made vehicle a chance and it got me. My frustration was how they treated me and not standing by the FORD product they’re selling.So here we go! Went back to Toyota! Paying a lot more but I have peace of mind that the quality and reliability is there! Plus an actual bumper to bumper warranty!

Bought my truck about a year ago, it had 640 miles on it. The alignment was off which I thought was curious but was reassured that nothing had happened to it, that it happens sometimes for the factory. I should have known better, but the carfax was clean as well. I noticed a little while back that there is a scraping sound when I back up with the wheel cut all the way to the right. Upon examination it’s very obvious the wheel well cover is damaged and doesn’t fit quite right. Which makes it obvious they knew about it and lied to me, they sold me a truck that someone smacked a curb hard enough to throw off the alignment which takes a pretty hard hit to accomplish in an F-150. I have no idea in the long run what may fail prematurely on account of it, but I do absolutely know that when they aligned it they knew. What a shady business practice. I will never do business with Bob Tomes again.

Kyle was very professional, patient, knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. He took the time to understand our needs and ask probing questions before taking us out on the search for the perfect truck. Absolutely love my experience! Bryce was the most helpful sales rep. I have dealt with as of yet. I went to Ford looking for a new bronco, but ended up getting a jeep Wrangler. He did not try to upsell me. He listened to all of my wants and needs. he was very knowledgeable about both vehicles and answered any questions I had. If you did not know the answers, he found them out for me. I highly suggest asking for Bryce if you go to bob tomes.

We bought a 2024 expedition max platinum from Bob Tomes Ford the other day. We also traded in a 2018 expedition max. We got a great value for our trade and they basically gave us as much as they could off of the new vehicle. Most importantly, it was an easy process. The manager, Travis, did not hide in the back and came to deal with me at the salesman’s table, cutting hours and frustration out of the process. Honest group, and stood by the price we agreed on. I’m very pleased with them and look forward to doing all of my maintenance with their service team as I have done for years. Khalid and Jay were also great on the sales team. I would honestly give 5 only for Jay. Such a sweet and polite sales man I have ever seen. He is very honest and willing to help you get what you want. Things went out of control and it was messy on the side of finance, and it was such a waste of time for me and I believe for them, they messed up many times on the contract and wasted my time but they make it up for me at the end which kept me calm. On the sales side Jay was very helpful and we liked how he handled everything calmly for us. I love the car a lot that’s why I handled my anger with the finance manager which wasn’t nice dealing with him and I understand his frustration because of the hot mess they went through but we live and learn.Thanks Jay for you being respectful and polite with every step in the process and thanks for helping and taking care of us.

Gabriel was a bunch of help & purchased my first bronco badlands with him! I had a previous person who reached out to me but wasn’t available or respond so I called and Gabriel picked up. He made this process so easy. I had the intent to test drive and MAYBE purchase but he worked with me, my work schedule, was patient and wasn’t pushy. Gabriel waited til I arrived close to closing. I checked the final bill of sale ( which for some reason the finance person never let me take a look at during the signing) and it has a mark up that I never agreed upon. They never give you a printed copy of the docs, so very difficult to verify the final numbers. Fact of life - never let your guard down during a car sale.—I had an amazing car-buying experience with Kevin and Rudy at Bob Tomes Ford! From start to finish, they made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, while Rudy went above and beyond with his communication. I think my salesman was very pleasant and I get it when your first new your unsure of yourself but he did his best to put me in a vehicle. My late husband was an employee for motor company for 40 years so I do have a little insight of how things work. I was disappointed when it came to Signing the contract only after I signed the contract was I given an option on warranty that should’ve been told to me upfront And I declined all of them and I will take out Warranty insurance elsewhere just because I wasn’t told about it prior to signing the contract but other than that, it was a long day, but we got it done. Thank you I’m very happy with my vehicle

Just bought a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport from this dealership. My car salesman Michael East was amazing. He was super helpful throughout the entire process. This is my 3rd car I’ve bought from this dealership. Every time I come here they are professional and courteous. I will continue to give my business to this dealership because of this. **UPDATE....I revisited the dealership for some additional work on my vehicle and this visit was a much better experience...Mr. Chance Turner assisted me and he gave 5 star customer service from beginning to end...Thank you Mr Chance for your superb customer service!Possibly train all workers of the Quick Lane center to be united in greeting the customer to assist (even if its just to get customer to right person) and not just stand by looking at a customer as they drive or walk in...I experienced coming in and never being greeted, while two workers saw me but never acknowledged me. I had to literally ask if I could get help. But once I got to Mr. Chance... he was excellent in assisting and explaining.

I talked with several dealers while searching for the perfect truck, and Rudy and Blake at Bob Tomes were exceptional. Their thorough and timely communication was crucial as I was driving up from Austin, and they ensured the deal was settled before I arrived. This made for a smooth and pleasant in-person experience.In contrast, the dealership down the street was a different story. It took multiple days and numerous emails/texts to get their attention. While they eventually made a solid offer, their primary focus seemed to be on getting me into the dealership, which was frustrating.I'll happily consider Rudy and Blake at Bob Tomes the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle.

This review is for the service department. I kept having issues with my Mustangs transmission and they took care of it with a new unit in a very timely manner. I was given a loaner vehicle all three times which was greatly appreciated. Austin is the service manager and he was phenomenal at taking care of the issue with my car and making things right. Chance was my service advisor and he was incredibly professional and communicative. Chance got a new transmission assembly approved by Ford through warranty very quickly. Everyone in the service drive through is courteous and friendly. Had a great experience from the time I dropped off my car to picking it up. The reviews that they have speaks for itself. I have had horrible experiences at AutoNation Ford Frisco and Five Star Ford of Dallas, they do not make things right for their customers like Bob Tomes Ford does. It was so bad that I had to get lawyers involved with my previous Ford vehicle. I highly recommend everyone reading this to give them a chance if they have had bad experiences at other Ford dealers. Riley, Collin, and the service team were friendly, professional, and very helpful in getting me a new set of tires and completing maintenance on my vehicle. Meanwhile, Kyle “Rudy” gave me a good view of a few new Fords. This was my first service at this dealership, and due to this great experience I expect to return each time I need service and to buy a new truck here in the future

We purchased two vehicles from the used car side. We traded in both the vehicles we had for the two newer ones. I traded my 2019 platinum f150 on for a 2023 f150 limited. My wife traded her 2018 platinum explorer in for a 2023 platinum expedition. My sales guy offered to remove my roll up bed cover from the platinum f150 I traded in and set it aside for me to come pick up. The expedition my wife bought came with a cattle guard on it. Looked brand new as the car only had 3k miles on it. The same sales guy was supposed to remove that for us and set it aside with my bed cover. I text the sales guy a couple days later and asked if I could come get said items. He told me that everything went to auction by mistake and that he'd send someone over to get these items and bring them back. After about two weeks of gong back and forth, he told me the items were at the dealership and I could come get them. I drove up the next day to only find out that nothing was there. I cashed and text said sales person several times, he finally quit responding. I reached out to the dealership and asked to speak to a manager after they told me that said sales person no longer worked there. I gave the person on the phone my info and they relayed the issues to the manager and told me he would call me back. A week goes by and I called again, just to be told that the manager was on vacation and would call me when he got back. It's now been two months and I have not heard a word. I tried calling again just to be told that the manager was in a meeting and would call me back. We've bought 3 vehicles from there on the last 3 years and I was planning on trading my work truck in and buying my daughter a car. However with the lack of customer service and respect of my time and property that seems to have left with said sales person, we will be taking our business elsewhere!

I decided to show up early just to look around and see how their vehicles were priced. I have been working on leasing a vehicle since Monday with a couple of other dealerships. One in particular I knew was being less than transparent.While on the premises I was approached by Hunter the service director, he asked if he could help. I told him what I was doing and my experience at the “other” car lot. He then walked me over and introduced me to Rich in the Fleet department who graciously showed me vehicles prior to the retail sales team arriving.Upon arrival the General Sales Manager introduced himself to me. Garrett I believe. He asked about my vehicle interest and took all of the information. He then assured me they would do everything possible to get me what I wanted.Once Jason (sales person) and Blake (sales manager) took over, I knew immediately this experience would be what I was looking for. I have purchased more than my fair share of vehicles and this experience ranks right up there with the best. They took the time to ask questions and understand exactly what I wanted.Then of course the “other” dealership called and I told them that I had found a better deal. They of course became very competitive at that time. Too little too late! Jason and Blake along with Tommy in finance ensured no stone was unturned and that I was completely happy with my car deal before I left.Exceptional job! I have purchased several vehicles from Bob Tomes and have enjoyed each experience. After the sale, maintaining our vehicles with the service department has also gone well. For several of my recent interactions I have had the pleasure of working with Chance. Working with him, I know I can anticipate a pleasant, well-explained process with timely updates and repair.

After having communication and delivery problems with another dealership in Fort Worth, we searched online and found the same car at Bob Tomes Ford. We originally called and spoke to Seth. He was very friendly and put us in touch with the salesman, Tanner. Tanner was GREAT!!! We worked out a deal before getting to the dealership. He agreed to match the offer that the previous FT Worth dealership had offered. We had to drive an hour and a half to McKinney from Weatherford, but it was well worth it. Tanner met us in the parking lot and had the new car ready to go. We test drove the car, signed the paperwork, etc...got out of there in less than an hour. There was no nonsense/haggling. Although we were offered the extra warranty stuff, we did not feel pressured to purchase them by the finance guy, Aaron. Seth even came by to say hello. Everyone was great! We had been wanting to trade in our car for an upgrade for a few months but kept putting it off, mainly because we HATE the car buying process...the bait & switch, let me go talk to my manager games, etc. We experienced none of that nonsense at Bob Tomes Ford. Tanner even followed up with us a couple of days later to make sure everything was going good. We highly recommend Tanner if you're in the market for a new vehicle.

Great same day experience! The process was smooth and easy to navigate from test drive to purchase. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.My finance agent, Mo, managed to clarify alot of uncertainty since this was my first time financing a car. He even provided competitive rates to ensure I was getting the best deal possible.Only real complaint was the wait time for financing review but it may not be so bad if you arrive early since they have lots of afternoon appointments.

Sales was very accommodating. They even let me take a vehicle home for the afternoon. Negotiations went quickly, as did the financing part. However, after reviewing the paperwork in the evening, I discovered what appeared to be some errors. I returned the next day, and everything was sorted out quickly to my satisfaction. I am very pleased.

Never been treated so poorly by professionals in my life. Bumper to bumper warranty means NOTHING here. All dealerships are a racket, but when it comes to warranty work they generally know they have to eat it. Not this place. Absolutely soulless. Lie to your face, lie again, and them call you a liar. Over a radiator hose they claim something “bounced off the road” and hit. It makes me sick to have given them money but I had no choice. BBB and my lawyer are on it. DO NOT F with these crooks.
