Two stars because Jeanna (in service) is amazing! I would want her in any company I run.August of 2023, our 2011 X3 starts being weird. We pay a mechanic a couple grand to fix it, but still has issues. In November, I go online to find there's a recall on it, and all the symptoms point to that recall. When we call BMW, they just say it'll have to sit until there's a remedy.1. We didn't even get a letter about the recall ( we are in the database)2. No loaner car provided for the 9 months we were without a vehicle...3. Not notified of the remedy, just checking BMW's site every week for an update, until it appeared.We finally get scheduled, it goes in, I pick it up a week or two later. I had to call in and see if it was even done...They asked if they could replace the oil pressure cap and one other thing while it was in the shop and told me it would be $60 a piece. I said go for it. Upon picking up the vehicle, I get charged over $250. When I asked why the bill was so high, a service employee behind me says, "oh yeah, forgot to mention labor".I go home and the engine light is on. When I leave one morning, the car dies in the middle of the road. I get it back to BMW, and they say they forgot to tighten something. I take it home, and BMW reaches out to see if I want to sell/trade-in my car. I give my vin, and they say to come down for a quote.I drive all the way back to BMW, only to sit for 20 minutes, while a male employee looks at my car. He leaves it running, and goes to his office. Finally I ask an employee if they have a quote, so she goes to investigate. She comes back and says, "oh, we can't buy your car".Okay, well thank you BMW for wasting my time. My car now shakes when it hits 40mph, and doesn't feel safe to drive. When I was there for the quote, I asked about this and said the check engine light was still on, and the service guy just told me they did the recall on my car and he wouldn't know what to do, so call Jeanna the next week.
