I always thought that I wanted a casual wedding, didn't care much about things like florals. But once we met Natalie and saw what she could put together for us, I suddenly realized that investing in the right florals was actually a key to getting the wedding of my dreams - something colorful and vibrant, while also still lowkey and simple.
We got married at the restaurant Comal, in Berkeley, which provided the best backdrop for handpainted signs, eclectic floral arrangements, and funky colorful cocktails. When I met Natalie, I told her that I knew I wanted some deep oranges but otherwise I didn’t have much of a vision and she really helped put it all together for me. When she did have a plan, she invited me in as a collaborator and gave me more confidence in having an opinion of what I really wanted.
My husband was thoughtful enough to have some flowers preserved and worked with a local artist to have earrings and a necklace made with some of the petals of my wedding bouquet, so Natalie’s work will stay forever with us!
Aside from designing amazing floral arrangements, Natalie is just an awesome human and really amazing to work with. I would work with her again in a heartbeat and I think anyone would be lucky to have her do florals for their wedding or any other significant event!
