I’m hoping to save someone else from the grief and cost of buying a rebuilt car from AutoSavvy. You see, I also got on here and gave them a five star review in selling me a car. We had a great experience, but it was after bringing the car home and all of the headaches began. We noticed electrical problems right off the bat. We were told that they could look at it in two months—- what? However folks, we were still at the believing stage and felt confident they would resolve the issue. After ten days in their shop it was supposedly fixed right? Wrong? Driving it home the same camera issues appeared. Did they respond to our pleas for help? No. You see, they just don’t answer your phone calls, so we took it to a Toyota dealership where it was discovered that they glued a piece back together instead of replacing it. Guess what? Even with the dealership sharing that information, AutoSavvy would not pay the $1,000 to fix it, because we didn’t supply them with the pictures. Now mind you, the insurance company would not pay for the repair because AutoSavvy had a defective part on the car, so we got to pay it!! Then we took it on a road trip and everything kept shutting down again. Took it back to the dealership, because remember…. They’ve got your money and no longer want to accept responsibility for their poor work! Now, we have to replace the wrong battery they put in the car, another $350 out of our pocket. The mechanic at Toyota said “i hope you’ve learned your lesson! Don’t ever buy a car with a branded title.” Oh, we have, but unfortunately we are now pretty much stuck with a car that has cost us $41k. Please, please don’t even go there with these guys. This has been so utterly stressful and we don’t know if we’ll ever have the reliable good car we thought we were buying.
