Untrustworthy and Incompetent Dealership - Avoid at All Costs!!!
If you're considering doing business with this dealership, think twice. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel obligated to warn others.
Earlier this year, I was convinced by the "sales manager" to opt for a lease-then-buy option to "save money off MSRP." They advised me to return in three months to finance the lease into a purchase, which I did in October. I put down a significant payment and signed for a loan, believing the lease had been successfully transitioned into a financed purchase.
Fast forward a month: I receive a call from Volvo Financial Services Collections Department informing me that my lease was still open, I was late on payments, and my credit had been impacted. Why? Because this dealership failed to pay off the lease balance during the buy-out process, leaving my account in limbo.
Even worse, I am still dealing with this issue two months later. Despite my best efforts, no one at the dealership has stepped up to resolve it. Volvo Financial Services themselves cannot even get a hold of anyone at the dealership to send the payoff check. The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication is astounding.
Since then, I’ve made dozens of attempts to resolve this issue, reaching out to the manager, finance department, and anyone who might help. Instead of taking accountability, I’ve been met with rude and condescending associates who tell me there’s "nothing they can do." They’ve given me the runaround, dodged my calls, made empty promises, and even hung up on me!
Their negligence has not only caused incredible amounts of unwanted stress and hours of wasted time on the phone, but it has also damaged my credit report. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is completely unacceptable.
Save yourself the headache, financial risk, and frustration. Stay away from this dealership.
And to whoever is going to reply with a generic, apologetic response: I have already called (408) 758-5501 many times to speak with the GM and discuss ways to make this right, but I can never reach them.
