Would give 0 stars but it’s not an option so they get 1. I purchased a vehicle there a few weeks ago. When I asked “is there anything wrong with the car” at the time of buying it, the sales manager responded “well it’s a used car, but no, there are absolutely no problems with the car”. I felt assured and wasn’t worried. After getting the vehicle home and opening the hood I found 2 bad oil leaks (rear valve cover seal and timing chain gasket, trans slips going into reverse, front brake calipers rusted solid, poor repair job from accidents that we weren’t made aware of. Dealer told us it had been in A accident. Turns out it had been in multiple). I contacted the dealer within 30 minutes of leaving and told them I wanted to return the car. 3 days later I was contacted and told they would fix anything that was wrong with the vehicle, or if the issues were larger like the transmission that they would let me return the vehicle and get a refund. The sales manager was great. The owner Michael however, was the epitome of slime ball used car salesmen. He sat me down in his office and started screaming at me, while shaking and sweating profusely. It was obvious he was attempting to intimidate me, but he’s a clown so I just smiled and told him to have a nice day. He offered to pay for his mechanic to fix half of some of the issues the dealer found. The Toyota dealer found around 6k in existing conditions that it was highly recommended be fixed asap. Originally being told that they would take care of any issues I felt some relief. Michael the owner told me he would pay for half of one issue (valve cover gasket leak) which would be him having his own mechanic do it and stated his half would be $600 . I’m sorry but I was originally told they’d take care of any issues. $600 is a far cry from the 6k the dealer said it needed in work to be reliable to drive. My issue was that he only wanted to lay for half of the cheapest issue to fix. Also his mechanic is incompetent. He inspected the vehicle after I emailed them letting them know about the vehicles issues. He didn’t find the issues the dealer found and said the car was good to go. That’s not someone I want working on my car if he could T even find the problems the dealer easily found in under an hour. Michael the owner is an absolute disgrace and is as true to the stereotype of slimy used car salesmen as it gets. I will never recommend them to anyone, and hope people don’t get duped by the sleazy poor business practices the owner Michael runs his business with. Will have a public website with all the proof of the car being a serious basket case up in the next few days. After promising to fix the issues at the beginning this dealer left me hanging with a vehicle that has serious issues and won’t be the reliable transportation I was led to believe that I was buying. 0 stars, F- on their grade, and they score a 0 out of 10 on the scale of would recommend to a family or friend. Might recommend them to my worst enemy, but other than that steer clear of them. They are the biggest con artists of them all.
