I tried Amazon Fresh and it was an awful experience. I ordered 3 items, 2 perishable & 1 non-perishable. After my order didn't arrive within the scheduled 2 hour window, my order status changed to "running late", but still on it's way. 2 hours later, the order status changed to untrackable and it instructed me to contact customer service if I hadn't received my order.
I contacted customer service by phone. They told me that the driver encountered a mechanical issue and could not complete the delivery. I was understanding and asked them to send my order out with another driver. They informed me that they could do this for my 2 perishable items, but that my 1 non-perishable item was no longer available. I argued logically stating that if they weren't lying to me about the mechanical issue that their driver encountered while delivering my order, then that driver would still be in possession of my non-perishable item. My customer service representative couldn't be bothered by logic and I ended up having her refund the entire order.
I advise anyone reading this to avoid using Amazon Fresh, just put some pants on and go to your local grocery store.
