However, Al's Westside Services provided amazing service and earned a life-time customer today. I read other reviews saying that they would do their best to only fix what actually needed to be fixed avoiding undue expense for their customers, and I can attest to that myself. They called around to make sure they found the parts my car needed at the lowest price, and even though--at my request--Jerry prepared me for the "just in case" cost, the repair ended up being less than anticipated. This is a huge plus.
Everyone was polite, kind, and helpful. I didn't have a ride available to take me back home after I dropped off my car, and I didn't have a ride to come pick up my car either once the work was done; the staff at Al's pitched in and gave me a ride to and from the shop. None of this is expected, but it certainly was appreciated!
I was so afraid to even have this electrical/wiring work done in my car that I've been avoiding it for a year and only brought it in once it was absolutely necessary. Now, thanks to the staff at Al's, I feel confident taking my car in for other repairs as they surface instead of feeling afraid to even think about it. If you're waiting to get that "thing" fixed because you don't know who to trust or where to go, please take Al's into consideration.
