I thought about selling it for cheap online but decided to see if the tune up and cleaning would improve it's performance and I'm so glad I did! It's back to how it was when it was new. Plus they got out all the dog smell that used to blow out of it.
They have a good selection of high quality vacuums to purchase. Also accessories and things like filters and bags. Techs and customer service folks are friendly and answered all my questions about accessories and filters.
I appreciate how they are forthright, I brought in a friends vacuum for a new brush roll and tune up, the tech looked up the part before I left and was unable to order it because the vacuum was too old. So we decided not to do the tune up and suggest to my friend to get a new vacuum. Why tune up a vac without a functioning brush roll? I loved how they found out the part was unavailable before I paid for a tune up. That saved my friend money to put towards a new vac.
They charged me 20 dollars less than the quote to clean and tune up my Meile, plus buy a heap filter. Id rather be quoted over and pay less than underquoted and have to pay more. Also I was told 4-5 days but they were done with it the next day! That was helpful because I needed the vacuum asap for a move in clean.
Overall I highly recommend Al's if you're looking to buy a vacuum, accessories, or need your machine cleaned or tuned up.
