Jonny at All Metal Classics is nice to deal with. I bought a 1978 Bronco from him earlier this year. As this was my first time buying a classic truck sight unseen, after I wired him the money, I began to have second thoughts on what I had just done. So much so that I actually flew 2500 miles up to Idaho to check out the Bronco for myself, which in hindsight wasnt necessary.
I will say this. Jonny is good at what he does. He is a very busy man and I could tell this from our interactions. With that said, he was very attentive to my phone calls and was easily reachable.
I didnt expect a perfect vehicle, nor did Jonny price my Bronco as such. His pictures were detailed enough for me to be able to see the condition. I would recommend more pictures so others with less of an experienced eye could get an idea of the exact condition. Yes, there were a few surprises but overall I am very happy with my purchase. Again, it is a classic vehicle that hasn't had a frame off restoration... issues pop up, seals leak, things squeak. That is part of owning and maintaining a classic. If he had fixed some of the issues and asked $3000 more, I would have bought it anyway. I immediately put a few thousand dollars into my Bronco as soon as I got it to get it up to my exact standards, but I took that expectation into account when I made the purchase for the price that I did. I get compliments every time I take my Bronco out of the garage and have even had a few offers to sell it.
I DO recommend doing business with Jonny. Just know the questions to ask and he will give you honest answers. I would buy another vehicle from him. Actually, I have already asked him to keep an eye out for a Crew Cab Ford for me. If you get a chance.. go to his shop. That place is like a museum with revolving artifacts. Thanks for the Bronco, Jonny.
