She said she was full but she didn’t want to tell my daughter no so she would do it. I told her thank you very much and paid the money. She said to me come Saturday after 2pm. I said okay and left. I was a little concerned because the dance was at 7 on Saturday but I was thankful she could get it done. I pulled up to the shop on Saturday at 145. The shop was dark. I figured she would just be there at 2. Well 230 comes around and I’m panicking. I’m calling, emailing and everything. So by 330, I figured nobody was coming. I left and had to go find my daughter another dress. That’s wasn’t easy in the color she needed. So on the next Monday, I go to the shop and speak with the lady. I told her what she told me and that was to be there Saturday after 2. She said she is human and makes mistakes and she was very busy. She told me I should have looked at the door and saw she closed at 1 on Saturdays. I said why should I have done that? I went by what you told me to be here Saturday after 2. All she would say was she makes mistakes. So I asked her would she refund the money. She said no she doesn’t do refunds. I told her that doesn’t seem fair. She said I did a rush job for you and I did beautiful work. I told her none of that matters if we didn’t have the dress for the event. I told her she had my number if she noticed I wasn’t there before she was closing why not call me. She stated that she is too busy to call. I told her this just wasn’t fair and that I deserve a refund. She again just said she is human and makes mistakes. She also stated in all the time she has been there nobody has ever complained. I now see by her reviews that was a lie. I ended up letting her know I was gonna take her to court and she said go ahead, I am human and make mistakes. I tried really hard to reason with her but she refused. Needless to say I went right to the courts and filed a claim against her. All I’m going to say is PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I understand people make mistakes but they are supposed to correct those mistakes but she was not having it. She even said now your daughter will have another dress for the next time she has to go somewhere. Smh. Just ridiculous. I will gladly post the results after we go to court. Again, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!
Since you have responded make sure you let the court know you admitted that you made a mistake and told us the wrong day. You wrote nothing on my claim ticket. Your words said Saturday at 2. I went by your word! Which I have a witness that was there to confirm what you said. You made a mistake. Own up to it!! It happens but you should right your wrong. You failed to mention how you tried to keep the dress. Anyway, I will be glad to see you in court with my witnesses where you stated 2 on Saturday. See you then!
